Hire Agreement

The individual or organization hiring the inflatable is responsible for taking all necessary precautions to prevent injury or damage. Please adhere to the following safety instructions:

1. Do Not Move the Inflatable: Once erected by our trained staff, the inflatable must not be moved under any circumstances, as this may cause damage. Moving the inflatable will incur charges for repairs and loss of income during the downtime.

2. Age Limit for Equipment: All 12ft x 15ft and combo units have an upper age limit of 11 years. Please ensure that no users over this age utilize the equipment.

3. Responsibility for Equipment: The hirer is responsible for the safe keeping of the inflatable. You will be charged for any theft or damage that occurs, as well as for any items missing upon collection. If equipment such as sumo suits is kept overnight, it must be securely locked to prevent theft.

4. Sumo Suit Guidelines: Sumo suits should only be worn by adults or teenagers who are appropriately sized. Junior sumo suits are suitable for children aged 8-12 only. Helmets and neck braces must be worn, and sumo activities should only take place on the provided mats.

5. Prohibited Items: No food, drinks, or chewing gum are permitted on or near the inflatable to prevent choking hazards and mess. A cleaning charge will be applied if the inflatable is returned in a dirty condition.

6. Remove Accessories: All shoes, glasses, jewelry, and badges must be removed before using the inflatable.

7. No Face Paints or Streamers: Face paints, party poppers, colored streamers, and silly string are not allowed on or near the inflatable.

8. No Smoking or Barbecues: Smoking and barbecues are prohibited near the inflatables.

9. Climbing and Sitting Restrictions: Climbing, hanging, or sitting on walls is dangerous and strictly prohibited.

10. Adult Supervision Required: A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times.

11. Monitor User Capacity: Always ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded and limit numbers according to the age and size of the users. Avoid allowing large and small children to use it simultaneously.

12. Prevent Rough Play: Ensure children are not pushing, colliding, fighting, or engaging in behavior that may injure others.

13. Safety Step Usage: Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step, as this can result in injury if a child bounces off the inflatable.

14. Health Considerations: Do not allow anyone with a history of back or neck problems, or anyone who is feeling unwell, to use the inflatable.

15. Inflation and Deflation Safety: No one should be on the inflatable during inflation or deflation as this poses a risk.

16. Prohibited Items Near Inflatable: Pets, toys, or sharp objects must not be allowed on or near the inflatable.

17. Somersaults and Pockets: Ensure children are not attempting somersaults and are dressed appropriately without any items in their pockets.

18. Clear Area Requirement: Maintain a clear area of at least 6 feet (2 meters) around the unit.

19. Wet Conditions Warning: The inflatable should not be used if the jumping area becomes wet. If no shower cover is fitted and it rains, the unit must not be used.

20. Weather Policy: Sheffield Bouncy Castle Hire cannot control weather conditions. Refunds are not available if the inflatable cannot be used during the hire period due to weather.

21. Blower Malfunction Procedure: If the blower stops working, ensure all users exit the inflatable immediately. Press the safety reset button, check fuses, and make sure nothing is obstructing the blower. If it overheats or loses power, turn off the blower at the mains, then turn it back on after 1-2 minutes. If issues persist, contact us immediately.

22. Authorized Personnel Only: Only our delivery driver is authorized to collect the inflatable. Do not hand over any equipment to anyone other than our driver, who will have a copy of the hire contract.

23. Staking and Sandbagging: The hirer must ensure the inflatables are staked or sandbagged down at all times. Do not use in high winds.

24. Rodeo Bull Guidelines: All users of the rodeo bull must comply with the operator's instructions.

25. Sobriety Requirement: Users of the rodeo bull must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

26. Risk Awareness: All users of the rodeo bull do so at their own risk.

27. High Motion Disclaimer: The rodeo bull is a high-motion unit that can subject the body to unusual movements. Users may risk sprains, bruising, broken limbs, or other injuries. All users acknowledge their risk and agree to comply with health and safety regulations.

28. Ball Pool Deposit: The £20 ball deposit will only be refunded if all balls are present in the ball pool at the time of collection.

29. Area Suitability Responsibility: If the area for setup is unsuitable upon arrival, the full hire amount remains due. It is your responsibility to ensure the area is clean and adequately prepared. We cannot supply equipment on public council land without prior permission, which we reserve the right to review.

30. Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of at least 20% is required for all bookings. A payment link will be sent via email upon booking. Bookings will be canceled if the deposit is not paid.

31. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the booking date will result in the loss of the deposit. Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking date will incur a 50% charge. Cancellations on the day of the event will be charged the full hire amount, including for inclement weather. If we cancel due to safety concerns (e.g., high winds), you will receive a full refund.

32. Alternative Delivery Arrangements: If an alternative delivery time or date has been arranged and no one is available to accept the item, a second delivery fee may apply, or the hire may be forfeited without a refund.

All individuals using equipment hired from Sheffield Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd do so at their own risk. The hirer is fully responsible for any damage or injury resulting from misuse or reckless use of the equipment.

These guidelines are established for the safety of all users, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to at all times. Our company cannot accept any liability for injuries caused to anyone using this equipment.

By signing this agreement, I confirm that I have read and understood the above conditions. I acknowledge that while the inflatable is in my care, I am fully responsible for it and will pay for any loss or damage, including any additional cleaning charges if the inflatable is returned in an unacceptable condition.
